Share your survey results

Google Surveys lets you share your results with others, either on an individual basis or by opening your results to the public.

Add owners to your survey

Google Surveys lets you add other owners to your survey. Survey owners can access survey data, delete surveys, and set the privacy permissions for a survey. Survey owners must have Gmail or Google Apps email accounts.

Before you submit a survey for review

When you reach the Confirm survey page in the survey-creation process, you have the opportunity to add an owner before purchasing your survey. To add an owner:

  1. Before you click BUY NOW, click Edit to add another owner under Details.
  2. Enter the new survey owner's email address under Add a new survey owner.
  3. Click ADD OWNER.

Please note that once you add an owner to a survey, they cannot be removed.

While a survey is running or once it has been completed

You can also add owners to your survey once it has started running or if it has already been completed. To add another owner to your survey:

  1. Sign in to Google Surveys.
  2. On the survey dashboard, click the survey you want to view.
3. Click Share Sharing options from your survey results page.
4. Enter the new owner’s email address under Sharing options.
  5. Click ADD.
  6. Click DONE.

Please note that once you add an owner to a survey, they cannot be removed.

Make your data public

By making your survey public, anyone with the link to your survey can access your survey results. Your survey may be listed publicly and will be searchable on Google or other search engines. You can send the link to others via email, Facebook, Google+, Twitter, or paper note.

To set your survey to be shared publicly:

  1. Sign in to Google Surveys.
  2. On the survey dashboard, click the survey you want to view.
3. Click Share Sharing options from your survey-results page.
  4. Under Make survey public, click the toggle to set your survey to Publicly viewable.
  5. Click DONE.

If you decide to make your data private again at a later time, follow the same steps as above and click Make private.
