Understanding the YouTube TV interface

Regardless of the device you watch on, YouTube TV is divided into three sections — Library, Home, and Live.
LIBRARY
Library holds all of your saved content. This includes programs you’ve added to your Library, with both recordings and on-demand content available. Content in the Library stays there for 9 months, unless they are re-recorded during that time, in which case the 9 month counter effectively starts over again. The Library shows both new and re-recorded content. As you watch this content, it will be marked as Watched, so you can easily keep track of what’s watched, and what’s unwatched.
HOME
Home is the startup screen that will provide recommended content, and content that you might have started to watch during your last session, that you can now continue. Also on the Home screen, you’ll see things like news clips, multiview screens and more.
LIVE
Live is similar to a traditional cable TV guide, where you can view what’s playing now, and what’s playing in the future. It will also show you any programs you’ve added to your Library to be recorded (signified with a check mark), and as you hover over each line in the guide, you’ll see a short program description at the top of the interface.
SEARCH
In addition to these three sections, there’s also an area to search for your favorite content or channels.
