If you see a "No GPS" message in Waze, this guide will help you solve the issue.
- Make sure you’ve allowed Waze to use your phone’s location

- Hard reboot your phone
This is the most common way to solve the issue. Follow these steps to do a hard reboot. Don’t worry, this won’t delete anything from your phone.
Once your phone has rebooted, open Waze and try to navigate.

- Test your GPS
Check your phone's GPS to see if it’s working properly:- Open the Google Play Store
- In the search bar, type "GPS status"
- Tap the magnifying glass on your phone's keyboard
- Install one of the GPS status apps
- Open the app when you're outdoors
- Under “Accuracy” or “Error”, check the number that appears
- If it’s 0m/0 ft or over 35m/115 ft: Your GPS is not working properly. Please contact your phone's manufacturer to fix the issue. Once fixed, the error message in Waze should disappear.
- If it’s under 35m/115 ft: Your GPS is working
