Get trip suggestions

Trip suggestions are turned on by default. To turn them off:

1. Open Waze
2. Touch and hold any trip suggestion to open the action menu
3. Tap Remove event
4. Tap Remove

When the calendar event includes an address, you can remove all suggested future trips to that address. To do so:

1. Open Waze
2. Touch and hold any trip suggestion to open the action menu
3. Tap Remove all events at this address
4. Tap Remove

You can remove future suggestions based on your calendar events by turning your calendar off: 

1. Open Waze
2. Tap
3. Tap Settings
4. Tap Planned drives
5. Tap Connect calendar 
6. Turn your calendars off

You can delete the relevant drive from your navigation history.

You might still get trip suggestions with a similar origin or destination and departure time. If you don’t want to see any suggestions, you can turn trip suggestions on or off.

To remove future suggestions based on your saved places, remove it from your saved places:

1. Open Waze
2. Tap the search bar
3. Tap Saved
4. Tap the 3 dots next to the saved place
5. Tap Remove

Waze automatically sends you notifications with important info about trip suggestions, like:

• Significant delays due to traffic or road closures
• When to leave to arrive on time

To turn trip suggestion notifications on or off, you'll need to update your settings in two places:

 On your phone 

1. Open the Settings app
2. Tap Apps
3. In the list of apps, tap Waze
4. Tap Notifications
5. Turn on or off "Show notifications"

In the Waze app

1. Open Waze
2. Tap
3. Tap Settings
4. Tap Notifications
5. Tap Push
6. Turn on or off "Traffic delay notifications" 
7. Turn on or off "Major traffic events"

Note: You can also control the types of notifications you get in the notifications settings.
