European merchant identity verification

European and UK law requires payments providers like Google to verify the identity of their customers in the European Economic Area and the UK and withhold payments to customers until they have completed the verification process. To comply with these regulations, you are required to complete all of the following steps to verify your account. Failure to provide the requested information will result in your disbursements and payments profile being suspended, preventing you from selling on Google. 

After we receive all of the requested information, the verification process is typically completed in two to three business days. Once all your details have been verified, you will receive an email confirmation. Learn more about the verification process.

Please bear in mind that we may need to request documents to verify your business type, so make sure that you select the option that is legally accurate for your business. Also, make sure that your name and address in your payments profile are up to date and that they match the information that you submit via this form. If you need to make changes to your payment profile information, please follow these instructions (or these instructions if you're a Google Shopping Merchant).
