Legacy Google Voice has been replaced by the latest Google Voice experience. You can access the latest Google Voice experience at voice.google.com.

The changes in this article only apply if you use Google Voice with a personal Google Account. The changes don’t impact Google Voice on Google Workspace accounts. For info about Google Voice for Google Workspace, go to What can you do with Voice?

Important: If you have an account with a Google Voice phone number, you already have the latest Google Voice.

Learn about the modern Google Voice

Popular features from legacy Google Voice have been added to Google Voice. Some features, like internet calls, weren’t part of legacy Google Voice and are only available on the latest Google Voice experience.

Navigate the latest Google Voice experience 

You can easily find key features in Google Voice:

  • To find your Call history, go to Calls Calls.
  • To open your messages, go to Messages Messages
  • To open your voicemails, go to Voicemail Voicemail
  • To open Audio settings, at the top right, go to Audio settings 
  • To open general Settings, at the top right, go to Settings .
  • You can mark a message or call as spam.
  • You can archive a call or message.
