You can use Bluetooth to connect some devices to your phone without a cord. After you pair a Bluetooth device for the first time, your devices can connect automatically. If your phone is connected to something through Bluetooth, at the top of the screen, you'll find a Bluetooth icon . Learn how to connect a Bluetooth device.

- Some of these steps work only on Android 10 and up. Learn how to check your Android version.
- Some of these steps require you to touch the screen.
Turn Bluetooth on or off from the Settings app
- Open your device's Settings app.
- Tap Connected devices

- Turn Use Bluetooth on or off.
Turn Bluetooth on or off from Quick Settings
- Swipe down from the top of the screen.
- You can tap or touch and hold the Bluetooth Quick Settings tile:
- Tap: Opens your top 3 most recently connected Bluetooth devices.
- Turn Use Bluetooth on or off.
- Touch and hold: Opens the “Connected devices” page in the Settings app.

- Tap: Opens your top 3 most recently connected Bluetooth devices.
Step 1: Pair a Bluetooth accessory
Important: Your devices stay paired until you unpair them.
Step 2: Connect
- Open your device's Settings app.
- Tap Connected devices

- Make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
- In the list of paired devices, tap a paired but unconnected device.
- When your devices are connected, the device shows as "Connected."
