Battery Gauge Issues on Pixelbook Go

Hey everyone,

We discovered a bug that causes the battery gauge not to display the actual charge state of Pixelbook Go devices.

We are fixing this issue in the upcoming Chrome OS update, M78.

Please keep filing feedback reports if the issue persists after updating your device.

Got Chrome 78 today. Battery gauge behavior has definitely improved. It no longer freezes or reports ridiculous estimates of the remaining time available.

Thanks for jumping on the problem. I'll reserve final judgment until I have more experience, but I like what I see.
