Turn on Pixelbook accessibility features

You can make your Pixelbook easier to use by turning on accessibility features that work best for your needs.

Step 1: Find accessibility features

  1. In the bottom right, select the time to open the status area.
  2. Select Settings .
  3. At the bottom, select Advanced.
  4. In the "Accessibility" section, select Manage accessibility features.

Step 2: Turn on a feature

Choose the accessibility features you'd like to use:

  • Text-to-speech: Turn on the ChromeVox screen reader or Select-to-speak. See also "speak to type," below.
  • Display: High contrast mode, screen magnifier, screen resolution, and text size.
  • Keyboard: Sticky keys, on-screen keyboard, highlighting, keyboard repeat rate, and word prediction.
  • Mouse and touchpad: Automatic clicking, tap dragging, cursor highlighting, and cursor size.
  • Audio: Play all sounds together through all speakers.
