When out of data, how d attempted media messages still claiming to be sending in a que

My phone keeps running out of battery time and I think it's because I have reached my monthly data limit and I unwittingly attempted to send someone a voice message that is still claiming to be actively attempting to resend in the queue and I want to know how to delete just that one failed section of a conversation?

It's a common technical issue due to the fact that, when in a group chat without data, it sends through a offline server, hence in que, so having the data or not is not the problem. It's the servers usage. BUT if you turn on Airplane mode and re-sync to the group chat while in Airplane mode it will clear the cache automatically and dissappear, with a prompt saying "Failed send" "See Options".
