How to remove or disable a lock on chats

Hi everyone,
Wonder what a lock symbol on a message means? A lock on the chat indicates that your conversations are secure with end-to-end encryption. Learn more about RCS Messaging.
When RCS chats is turned on in Google Messages, you can:
- Share high-resolution photos and videos.
- Know when someone is typing.
- Get read receipts, which show when someone has received or read your message. Read receipts also show your contact when you read their message.
- Send messages over mobile data and Wi-Fi.
- Rename, edit, and remove yourself from group chats.
- Keep your conversations secure with end-to-end encryption if you are communicating with another Google Messages user(s).
Tip: To be able to enjoy these features, everyone in the Google Messages conversation must turn the RCS chats on.
