Unable to update password for other account under check mails from other account

Under Accounts and Import I need to update the password for one of my "check mail from other accounts", but when I click the link "edit info" it goes directly to "Add another account" not info on an already existing account. It seems the link has been corrupted in an update or something. I have tried on multiple computers and browsers without success.

this can take weeks , months or years to fix .

have you got 5 POP accounts listed ?

Ok, maybe I’ll try delete the account and add it again

No, I only have 2, but I need to update a password on one of them.

oh ok i thought it only occurred with 5 ( which i have )

Thanks, but I couldn't wait so I disconnected my e-mail account and added it again later. That worked :)

i never suggested that cause others complained gmail re imported all the old emails
