How do I access global settings for Google Groups?
To stop it happening again, Google says login to Google Groups and select settings from the top right. But there is not settings option in the top right, or anywhere else for that matter.
Am I going nuts? How on Earth do I find the global settings to stop people adding me to groups unsolicited (crazy that's not the default, but that's typical of Google)?
Where are the settings here????

If the spammers are adding your personal (non-Gmail) email to groups, Google does not provide a way to access the Google Groups settings for your personal email (you can only access the settings for your Gmail account). So Google created the problem by facilitating spammers being able to SPAM your personal email using Google's system through no fault of your own, but left no way for you to control your settings to prevent their system from freely being used to SPAM your personal email. Their justification for this abuse is that it's a free service so it's not their responsibility to fix it (again, even though Google created the problem through no fault of yours).
