Limitations
- Play balance cannot be used to purchase hardware in the gStore, nor to top up your GPay or other payment method.
- You can use your balance to buy content that’s sold in the same currency as your balance.
- Example: If you redeem an Australian gift card in AUD, you can't use it in Germany since the purchase in Germany would be in Euros.
- It's not possible to share or transfer content between accounts on Google Play, even if you own both accounts. If you have multiple accounts on your device, make sure you sign in to the account you want to use before you complete your purchase.
Tips:
- If you’ve bought an app on the wrong account, contact the app developer. They may be able to refund your purchase so you can buy it again on the account you wanted to use.
- You can share apps and digital content with your family with Google Play Family Library.
