Adjust the size of your Google Pixel Watch band for your comfort, and remove and change the band to match your style.
Tips for wearing Pixel Watch
Review these recommendations to help keep you comfortable when wearing your Google Pixel Watch. Ensuring the watch fits properly is also essential for more accurate sensor data collection.
- Don't wear your band too tightly. The band should be loose enough to move back and forth on your wrist.
- During exercise, adjust the band placement by moving it 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone for a more secure, but not too tight, fit. After exercise, lower and loosen the band so that it's loose enough to move back and forth on your wrist.
- Wear your Google Pixel Watch on the top of your wrist for optimal data collection.
- Remove the watch for an hour or so after extended wear.
- We suggest taking a break from wearing your device when showering. Even though it's okay to shower with our water-resistant products2, not doing so reduces the chance of exposure to soaps, shampoos, and conditioners, which can cause long-term damage to the device.
- If you have eczema, allergies, asthma, or skin sensitivities, you may be more likely to experience skin irritation from a wearable device.
- Loosen or remove your watch if you experience any skin irritation or other discomfort on your wrist or your hand, such as redness, soreness, tingling, numbness, burning, or stiffness.
- If any of these symptoms persist, please contact our customer support and consider contacting a dermatologist.

2 Google Pixel Watch is designed to comply with a water protection rating of 5 ATM under ISO standard 22810:2010 when manufactured, but it is not waterproof. Water resistance is not a permanent condition and decreases or is lost over time due to normal wear and tear, repair, disassembly or damage. Dropping your device may result in loss of water resistance. Google Pixel Watch is designed to be used in shallow water and should not be used for activities involving water at high velocity or high temperature. Some Google Pixel Watch bands are not water resistant. Go to g.co/pixelwatch/water for details. After any exposure to liquid, we recommend drying the watch and band because, as with any wearable device, it's best for your skin if the band is clean and dry.
