Make phone calls with Google Pixel Buds

With Google Pixel Buds, you can easily make and manage phone calls on the go. If you have Pixel 7 or newer, Turn on Clear Calling to enhance the other caller's voice. On Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro, this will be enabled by default. Bluetooth Superwideband will make both sides of the call sound more natural.

Answer a phone call

End a phone call

Make a phone call with Assistant

Requires an Assistant-enabled Android device.

  1. To talk to your Assistant, press and hold either earbud or say, "Hey Google."
  2. Tell your Google Assistant who you want to call from your Contacts. For example: "Call Mom"

You will be directed to your phone to enable contact permissions if you haven't already.

After telling your Assistant who you want to call, it will confirm your request (e.g., "Calling Mom") and begin calling your chosen contact.

Use of the Pixel Buds as an audio headset requires a Bluetooth® enabled companion device. For minimum OS and hardware requirements go to g.co/pixelbuds/help. Internet connection required. Fees may apply. The Google Assistant on Pixel Buds is only available on Android and requires an Assistant-enabled Android device, Google Account, and internet connection. Data rates may apply.
