Can't open certain news articles by double clicking. This has only been happening for past week. S

Can no longer open many news articles. This has been occurring for past week, 1/9/23. Searched for solutions and tried many answers without success. I can share the article and open the link but can't open by double clicking. What has changed

I'm not sure, I generally single click... are you using the web version or the Google News app? And do you have a good connection... usually when I do have trouble it's due to a slow internet connection,
