Customize what you find on Google News

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open Google News .
2. At the top, tap Search .
3. Search for a topic, location, or source, or tap a listed interest.
4. Tap Follow .

If you no longer want to get updates or news about a topic, location, or source:

1. Open the topic, location, or source and tap Following .
2. At the bottom, tap Following Library:
   • Topics: Under “Topics,” tap View all and manage More Stop following this topic.
   • Sources: Under “Sources,” tap View all and manage More Stop following this source.
   • Locations: Under “Local,” tap View all and manage More Stop following this location.

Important: You may not be able to like or unlike a story. For example, you won't be able to like stories labeled "Headlines" in the "Briefing" section or any story in the "Headlines" chip.

1. Under a story you like or don’t like, tap More .
2. If you want:
   • To get fewer stories like it: Tap Fewer stories like this .
   • To get fewer stories about a topic: Tap Fewer stories about a topic .

1. Find a story from the source you no longer want to get updates from.
2. To no longer get stories from that source, tap More   Hide all stories from [source] .
