How to fix Gemini math equations being messed up

I tried many different prompts to try and fix the issue but it is so inconsistant. Is there like a setting I could change or like a more stable prompt?

Hello Lúcio,

Thanks for you reply, I use the prompt like this

1. I input the image of the question into the box

2. I copy and paste (from the link above) the prompt into the text box

3. I give about 1-2 line space then enter addition relevant information (such as what I am looking for it to do, course code, the standards I want it to follow, etc)

Around 70% time it sucessfuly spits the equations out no problem.

However the other 30% it displays the text as shown above.

Sorry I just realized that the screenshots are not being attached properly.

So it shows either just words like sqrt(x) or incorrectly formatted such as $$ \frac{d}{dx}[\ln(f(x))] = \frac{1}{f(x)} \cdot f'(x) = \frac{f'(x)}{f(x)} $$

Which is a little difficult for me to read unfortunately.

Also unfortunately, the formatting you gave just returns words (87% of time) and the weird formatting (13% of time).
