Upgrade to Gemini Advanced

You can upgrade to Gemini Advanced, which is part of the Google One AI Premium paid plan for personal Google Accounts, qualifying edition of Google Workspace for work Google Accounts, or qualifying edition of Google Workspace for Education for school Google Accounts.

With Gemini Advanced you can experience our most capable AI models, including Gemini 2.0 Flash with a 1 million token context window. This means you can analyze, explore, and understand documents of up to around 1,500 pages. You also get priority access to Gemini´s newest features and experimental models as they become available. Upgrade to Gemini Advanced

To upgrade to Gemini Advanced, subscribe to the plan in Google One.

  1. Go to gemini.google.com.
  2. At the top, click Menu .
  3. At the bottom, click Upgrade to Gemini Advanced.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Tip: When you subscribe to the plan, you’ll need to select or provide a form of payment. Learn how to manage your Google payment info.

Choose the model you want to use

You can choose the model that you want to use for a chat.

Important: To switch between models in Gemini Apps, you must be signed in. Learn how to sign in to Gemini Apps.

Change your plan

To switch to a different Google One plan:

  1. On your computer, go to Google One.
  2. Click Settings Settings and then Change membership plan.
  3. Choose your new storage limit:
    • To add more storage space: Select a plan under "Upgrade options."
    • To pay for less storage space: Select a plan under "Downgrade options."
      • If there’s no downgrade option, you're on the lowest plan.
  4. To confirm the new plan price and details, click Next.
  5. Select your payment method.
  6. Click Subscribe.

Cancel your plan

You can cancel your plan in Google One settings.

  1. Go to gemini.google.com.
  2. At the bottom, click Settings and then Manage subscription. This opens Google One settings, where you can cancel your plan.
  3. Click Cancel membership and then Cancel.
