Can you keep your current phone number while signing up if it’s unlocked from another carrier?

If you begin the enrollment process with Fi, you should be given the options to either get a new number or port in an existing number. If you port in an existing number, DO NOT cancel your service with your current carrier. Once your number is moved to Fi, your existing service with your current carrier will be automatically cancelled (although I always suggest signing in to your old carrier to check the account status just to make sure).

The only time you might have a problem is if you signed up for a contract and the contract period has not yet expired.

Before you make the move,double and triple check to make sure your phone is, indeed, unlocked if you plan to use the same phone.
