You can add up to 5 friends and family members to your Google Fi group plan, for a total of 6 people. For everyone on your plan, you can pay the bill, track data used, and change settings. All group members must be on the same plan type. Learn more about Google Fi Plans.
How to invite members to a Google Fi group plan
If you're new to Google Fi, when you sign up, you can start a group plan.
If you already use Google Fi:
- Open the Google Fi app
or website.
- In the "Home" tab, tap Manage plan
Add a Person.
- When individuals join your group, you receive an email.
How to accept an invitation to a Google Fi group plan
If someone invites you to join their group, you get an email with info on how to accept.
- If you already added device protection, you can keep it to your device.
- If your device is financed, before you can join a group, you have to pay off the balance.
