Sales tax on your phone

When you buy a phone through Google Fi, you’ll be charged sales tax depending on the location it’s being shipped to. The amount of the tax is based on the total price of your phone and shipping and handling costs. You’ll see the estimated tax when you check out.

If you’re paying for your phone over time

If you choose to pay for your phone in monthly payments rather than all at once, you’ll be charged sales tax on the full price of the phone when you check out.
