Google’s CS First is being turned down after June 30, 2025. You will be able to access the CS First website, sign in to your account and access your data through June 30, 2025.

Why is CS First shutting down?
When CS First launched in 2013, there was limited awareness of K-12 computer science education and a lack of instructional resources for it. Since then, the landscape has evolved considerably. Today there are many efforts focused on equity and inclusion, with a variety of resources specifically designed to engage underrepresented groups in CS. Additionally, the Raspberry Pi Foundation, a global leader in K-12 CS education, has increased access for students and schools through affordable hardware and software solutions, while also developing freely available computer science curricula. We’re honored to have been a part of this positive transformation, and we look forward to continuing to offer support for organizations and initiatives that are developing accessible and engaging computer science education for all. Google is pleased to support the Raspberry Pi Foundation over the next 3 years for the development of Experience CS, which the Foundation is committed to making available to teachers in time for the 2025/2026 school year. With this support, the Raspberry Pi Foundation is building Scratch based learning units in a safe, scaffolded learning environment for students aged 8-14 that will always be freely available.
