Hi Thanks for posting in Google help forums,
Open the link and confirm Google Chrome is Enabled and up-to-date or Update,
Next,Go to Settings >>
Apps & Notifications>>> Default Apps > Select browser app and
Follow the instructions,
Or,
Go to Settings >>>>
Select your current browser ( Default for now ),
Clear Defaults,
Next Time ,
When you want to open a link,
You will be asked to select your choice for Open the link,
If you select Always,
Everytime your link will be open in the selected browser,
If you select Just once,
Everytime you will be asked to select your choice,
Select Chrome as your Default browser.
Restart Device.
