Account recovery

I've gone thru account recovery. I do not have the same phone number and my ex changed recovery email. There is information I need out of my old account is there anything else I can do. I have a different phone and moved states away so I can't sign in on old device or same IP. Can provide id.. old password or recovery details..

No it wasn't shared at least not intentionally. I moved away in the middle of the night and had a trunk full of clothes that's it. He had my old phone and must have accessed my account. He changed the account recovery email to his own email. I don't have the phone number associated with the account.

When you said "...He changed the account recovery email to his own email..." that means that you had a recovery email before that? Do you have access to that account?

This forum is for things related to Google Play, in this case you can ask in the Gmail Help Forum

In the recovery process skip questions related with the phone and the recovery email, also if the system ask you for a contact email use your recovery account(if you have access to it, the old one not the account of your ex).

I have tried that solution and it hasn't worked. I do indeed still have access to the old recovery email.

Hi again.

That wasn't a solution, it was just something that you need to do to have more chances to recover the account.

Ask in the Gmail forum and in the description of your question include all that you said here an also that you have access to your old recovery account, also mention the answer that you are getting from Google at the end of the recovery process also mention what questions you see in the recovery process.

It is important that you use always your recovery email when the system ask you for a contact email in the recovery process.
