Soon, we'll help you set up two different identities, so you can easily choose between them on the services that you want. For now, you can continue to use a YouTube-specific username:
- if you are making a new channel, you can choose to create a username.
- If you have an existing channel with a YouTube username, you can continue to use it just as before. If you're prompted to use the same name on YouTube on Google, you can opt out and click the option to use two different names.
- If you have a channel with your Google+ name, you can switch back to a YouTube username (instead of your Google+ name).
