You may have seen a message "An update to your account is required" or noticed that your account is now associated with a temporary email (@gtempaccount.com). This means you have a conflicting account. This can happen for two reasons:
- You started using a Google Apps account before November 18, 2010, and signed up YouTube with your Google Apps email address.
- Your domain has recently started using Google Apps, and you previously used your email address to sign into YouTube before your domain started using Google Apps.

Options for YouTube on conflicting account
You have two options for what to do with YouTube on your conflicting account:
- Use the account separately from your Google Apps account. To do this, you will want to change the email address on the account from the temporary @gtempaccount.com address to an actual email address.
- Move your YouTube data back to your Google Apps account.
Check the Google Apps help center to learn more about conflicting accounts and what you can do about them.
