This is only possible for legacy YouTube accounts that have been added to a Google Account. Unfortunately, YouTube channels created after May 2009 cannot be removed from a Google Account.
To move a legacy YouTube channel to a different Google Account, follow the steps below.
- Sign into the channel you want to move and go to your advanced account settings.
- Click Change Google Accounts.
- Confirm that you want to unlink your YouTube channel from the Google Account and enter the verification code. Then click Unlink My Accounts.
- You'll then be asked to re-link your YouTube channel to a Google Account. You can link it to an existing Google Account that you own, or create a new one.
Note: A Google Account can only have one YouTube channel. If a Google Account already has a YouTube channel, you won't be able to add another one.
