Find and preview tracks

There are multiple ways to find your favourite tracks in Creator Music:

  • Browse featured tracks on the Home page
  • Browse tracks in categories like genre and mood
  • Search for a specific track or artist
  • Search for tracks that are licensable or eligible to share revenue

As you explore, songs can be previewed to help you decide if they're the right fit for your content. Previews of some licensable tracks can be downloaded so you can make sure that the song works in your video before you license it. Bear in mind that tracks marked as eligible for revenue sharing can't be downloaded.

You can also preview a track's usage details so that you know how you can use a song before you use it in your video. Learn more about finding and previewing tracks.

Save and manage tracks

When you find a song that you like, you can save it to your library. On the Your library page, you can view, filter and sort a list of the tracks that you've saved, downloaded and licensed. Learn more about saving and managing tracks.

Get a licence

Once you find a licensable track that you want to use, you can get the licence directly in Creator Music or when you upload a video that uses the track.

When you license a track, you retain the full monetisation of your video that uses the track. Bear in mind that licensable tracks may also be eligible to share revenue if your use of the song meets the revenue sharing requirements. Learn more about licensing.

Share revenue

When you use tracks that are eligible for revenue sharing , you split the video's revenue with the track's rights holders, as long as your video meets the revenue sharing requirements. Some licensable tracks may also be eligible to share revenue if your video meets the revenue sharing requirements. Learn more about how revenue sharing works.
