Clear your browser search history
The history that may display in the address bar at the top of your browser window is stored by your browser. Click a link below to see instructions for clearing browser history in the browser you're using. If your browser isn't listed, we suggest consulting its help resources.

- Click the Tools menu.
- Select Delete Browsing History.
- Select the "History" and "Form data" checkboxes.
- Click Delete.
- Click the Tools menu.
- Select Delete Browsing History.
- Click the Delete history button.
- Click the Yes button in the confirmation window.
- Click the Tools menu.
- Select Internet Options.
- Click the General tab.
- Click the Clear History button.
To completely disable the history function, set 'Days to keep pages in history' to zero.
- Click the OK button.
- Click the Firefox Tools menu, or press Alt-T on your keyboard.
- Select Clear Recent History.
- Click the drop-down next to Time range to clear and select how much of your history you want to clear.
- Click the drop-down arrow next to Details.
- Select the "Browsing & Download History" and "Form & Search History" checkboxes.
- Click Clear Now.
- Click the Tools menu.
- Select Clear Private Data.
- Select the 'Browsing History' option.
- Click the Clear Private Data Now button.
- Click the History menu.
- Select Clear History.

Google sometimes customizes your search results and predictions that appear under the search box based on your past search activity on Google, such as searches you've done or results you've clicked. Follow these steps to delete this history:
