Learn about possible problems with video content
Although Google crawls millions of pages with videos, it's inevitable that some videos will be missed. When our spiders miss a site on which a video appears, it's frequently because the site in question:
- Isn't well connected through multiple links to other sites on the web.
- Launched after Google's most recent crawl was completed.
- Has a design that makes it difficult for Google to effectively crawl its content.
- Was temporarily unavailable or we received an error when we tried to crawl it.
Although we index millions of videos and are constantly working to increase the number of videos we include, we can't guarantee that we'll crawl all of the videos that exist on the Web.
Got a video site?
Reach more people by making your videos discoverable on Google. Make sure Google knows about your site's video content by submitting a Video Sitemap or a MRSS feed.
