If you'd like to receive updates in your email inbox about new and updated waves, you can turn on email notifications. Email notifications are sent to your email address, at a frequency you select, so you can easily keep track of updates in Google Wave. Only unread waves and waves on which you are a participant will trigger email notifications.
To set up email notifications, follow these steps:
- In your Google Wave Navigation panel, hover your mouse over the Inbox link.
- Click the More actions menu, and select Notifications.
- Select how often you'd like to receive notifications, and select the email address at which you'd like to receive them.
- Click Save.
Note: If you'd like to receive email notifications at an address other than those listed in the configuration dropdown menu, you'll need to add that email address to your Google Account. Learn how.
