Managing Waves

What are email notifications?

If you'd like to receive updates in your email inbox about new and updated waves, you can turn on email notifications. Email notifications are sent to your email address, at a frequency you select, so you can easily keep track of updates in Google Wave. Only unread waves and waves on which you are a participant will trigger email notifications.

To set up email notifications, follow these steps:

  1. In your Google Wave Navigation panel, hover your mouse over the Inbox link.
  2. Click the More actions menu, and select Notifications.
  3. Select how often you'd like to receive notifications, and select the email address at which you'd like to receive them.
  4. Click Save.

Note: If you'd like to receive email notifications at an address other than those listed in the configuration dropdown menu, you'll need to add that email address to your Google Account. Learn how.
