Create Account

If you have a Google Account, you can add the Google Wallet service by logging in with your existing username and password at http://wallet.google.com/manage. If you don't already have a Google Account, a free Google Account will automatically be created for you when you sign up. Your Google Account gives you access to a number of free Google products.

To create your Google Wallet account:

1. Visit http://wallet.google.com/manage.
2. Click Sign up for a new Google Account.
3. Fill out the required fields and click Create my account.
4. To activate your Google Account, check your email account for a verification message from Google and verify your account.

If notified that an account with the email address provided already exists, you may have already created a Google Account when signing up for another Google service or purchasing a Google Product (such as Picasa, Google Earth, Google Apps, or Google Video). Instead of creating a new account on the left side of the page, provide your login email address and password on the right side of the page. After providing payment and shipping information, the Google Wallet service will be added to your existing Google Account.

Verify Account

When you create a new Google Account, you need to verify your email address. Google will send an email containing a verification link to the address you used to create your account. By clicking the link to verify your email address, you'll help us protect your account information.

If you create your Google Wallet account directly from a seller's site while making a purchase, your first order will not be influenced by the Google Account verification process; however, you need to verify your email address to sign in to Google Wallet and make additional purchases.

You may also edit your general Google Account settings at any time.

If you aren't receiving confirmation emails from Google Wallet or a seller, check the spam folder in your email account. Occasionally, email spam filters incorrectly classify valid emails as spam. To ensure you receive important notifications from us, please add account-verification-noreply@google.com address to your address book.

Multiple Accounts

To take advantage of the benefits of Google Wallet, we strongly recommend that you create only one account. All of your transactions are stored in one place, and you'll only need one username and password to shop quickly and securely. For Google Wallet promotions, however, there may be limitations regarding multiple accounts. Please refer to each promotion's terms for more details.

Close Account

You can disable Wallet by contacting us. Note that after account closure, you won't be able to sign in to Wallet or view your Transactions; however, you can still access other Google services currently linked to your Google Account.

You can also choose to close all Google services associated with your Google Account.
