To use Google Wallet, you must set up a security PIN that you have to enter before accessing the app and making payments. The PIN has a timeout feature to ensure you are always in control of the application’s usage. To change the timeout duration, please follow the instructions below.

Set Timeout Instructions

From Google Wallet dashboard, access the Settings menu by touching the devices Menu button and touch Settings. Next, select Set Wallet timeout. Select your preferred Google Wallet timeout duration from the following options:

• 1 minute
• 5 minutes(default)
• 15 minutes
• 30 minutes

After choosing your new timeout duration, you will return to the Settings menu. Your new timeout duration will appear below Set Wallet timeout.

Lock Google Wallet

You can lock your Google Wallet at any time by simply touching the lock icon located at the top-right of the app. Once Google Wallet is locked, you will have to re-enter your security PIN to access the app.
