Publishing Reviews

After a transaction is complete, you’ll receive an email invitation to review the seller you've purchased from. Reviews help sellers provide a positive shopping experience and allow shoppers to make informed purchasing decisions. Reviews are published on Google Shopping as well as on each seller's Google Checkout profile page.

You'll be asked to provide a star rating on a scale of one-to-five (five being the best). You can also leave additional comments to discuss delivery time, overall satisfaction with the product/service, and the quality of the seller's communications. Check your review carefully before submitting it, as you won't be able to edit your review later.

Leave a Review

Leave a review for a seller by entering https://wallet.google.com/reviews/merchant/rateMerchant?t= into your internet browser. Before going to this URL, please enter your order number associated with that seller after = in the URL name.

Note: You'll be prompted to sign in to your Google Account.

Revising Reviews

It's not possible to edit reviews once submitted. The seller may reply to your review, but their comments and any further response you make won't appear online. Only your original comments and star rating will be publicly available. You may read old reviews and append your comments if the seller has replied. To see the reviews you've published:

1. Sign in to your account at wallet.google.com/manage.
2. Click My seller reviews
3. Click more >> below the review you'd like to read.
4. If the seller has commented and you'd like to reply, click Respond Publicly.

If a seller disagrees with a review, we encourage the seller to contact you to resolve outstanding issues. Responses from sellers and follow-up comments are not published on Google Shopping at this time.

Deleting Reviews

If you feel a review no longer accurately reflects your transaction, you may delete your review. Here's how:

1. Sign in to your account at wallet.google.com/manage
2. Click My seller reviews
3. Locate your review and click more >>.
4. Click Delete this review and confirm that you would like to delete your review.

Deleted reviews will no longer appear in your account and will not be used to calculate the seller's rating.

Finding Seller Reviews

If a seller displays the Google Wallet acceptance logo on their website, you can click on the logo to view the seller reviews page. Here you can browse through reviews and ratings from Google Wallet buyers who have purchased from this seller.

You can also try Google Shopping to read customer reviews before making a purchase. Search for the seller, locate the company in the search results, then click the green stars below the seller's name to read reviews.

No reviews published? Try Google Search to find reviews. Also, contacting the seller directly can help you make a purchasing decision.

Published reviews and your Google profile

By publishing your review, a public Google profile will automatically be created if you do not already have one, and your review will be posted publicly on the seller's reviews page. If you have a public Google profile with a nickname, your nickname will appear with the review by default. If your Google profile does not have a nickname, published reviews will display with the first name and last initial of the name listed in your Google Wallet account. You can change the nickname associated with your publicly posted reviews at any time by editing your Google profile. Your comments and star ratings will also be available to users via Google Shopping.

After your review is published, sellers see your name, email address, address, phone number, and order number--the same information they receive when you place an order.
