You need at least one payment method in your account to make purchases, receive refunds, and send and receive money.

To add your credit/debit card's information:

1. Sign in to your account at wallet.google.com.
2. Click Payment methods on the left side of the page.
3. Click on the red Add a credit or debit card button near the top of the page.
4. Enter your card's details.
5. Click Save.

To update an existing card, click Edit next the card information you'd like to change. Once you've made the desired updates, click Save.

If you're in the U.S., and have claimed money from friends using Wallet or Gmail, you can add money to your Google Wallet Balance using a bank account once you've verified your identity. Simply enter your bank account information by clicking Add a bank account.
