You can place SketchUp models in any current version of Google Earth. To use new features as they are released, always make sure you have the latest version of Google Earth.
The new versions of SketchUp and Google Earth now support displaying textures and images in Google Earth.
In order to use this new functionality, you must install both new versions, and then place your model in the new version of Google Earth from the new version of SketchUp, or upload your model to the 3D Warehouse from the new version of SketchUp, and then click View in Google Earth.
