Downloading a model from the 3D Warehouse

To download a model from the 3D Warehouse:

1. Click on the thumbnail image (or link) for the model. The model’s detail page is displayed.
2. Click on the Download Model button. A list of file types is displayed.
3. Click on the download link next to the file type that you want, such as SketchUp 6 (.skp) [Download 3 mb]. An dialog appears asking you if you want to open the file with a specific application or save the file.
4. Select Open with and the specific application from the Application drop-down list. Or, select Save File to save the file to your computer’s hard disk drive.
5. Click the OK button. The model is loaded into the specified application or saved to your computer’s hard disk drive.

Downloading a collection from the 3D Warehouse

Only collections of 3D buildings can only be downloaded and viewed in Google Earth. To download a collection into Google Earth:

1. Click on the thumbnail image (or link) for the collection. The collection’s detail page is displayed.
2. Click on the 'View in Google Earth' link.
3. Select Open with and the specific application from the Application drop-down list, such as Google Earth. Or, select Save File to save the file to your computer’s hard disk drive.
4. Click the OK button. The collection is loaded into the specified application or saved to your computer’s hard disk drive.
