Creating angular dimensions
Angles are a measurement between two lines sharing a common end point called the vertex. The following images show different angle forms:

Creating an angular dimension
To create an angular dimension:
- Select the Angular Dimension tool (
). The cursor changes to a pencil with an angular dimension. - Hover the cursor over a line or end point of a line representing your angle. The "On Line" or "On Point" inference appears (a red square or green circle).
- Click the left mouse button. One solid blue point representing the starting point is created.
- Move the cursor in the direction representing one half of your angle. A dashed line extends away from the starting point.
- Click the left mouse button. The direction for one half of your angle is established.
- Hover the cursor over the second line or end point that represents your angle. The "On Line" or "On Point" inference appears (a red square or green circle).
- Click the left mouse button. One solid blue point representing the starting point is created.
- ove the cursor in the direction representing the second half of your angle. A dashed line extends away from the starting point. A hollow point appears at the vertex of the angle.
- Click the left mouse button. The vertex is established and the angular dimension appears.
- Move the cursor away from the vertex in the direction representing the angle you want to measure. The angular dimension follows.
- Click the left mouse button. The angular dimension is established.
