How much do the creative partners charge for their services?
We have negotiated discounted rates with our partners on behalf of our clients, which your sales rep can share with you upon request. You can also contact your sales rep for a one-sheeter on the creative partner program, which includes the most current partner rates.
Does using a creative partner affect my ad-serving fees?
No, ad-serving rates still apply. The fee paid to the creative partner is a service fee that doesn't affect your ad-serving rates.
Can I stick with the creative shop that I have a pre-existing relationship with?
If your creative shop is willing to become DoubleClick Studio-certified and they meet the criteria for certification, then yes, you can continue to use them once they have completed Studio certification, which takes up to two weeks to complete. These are the criteria for Studio certification:
- Team size: Minimum of three, provided all three get production and QA badges.
- Volume: The creative shop must have consistent volume (builds at least three campaigns per month across all their media agency clients).
I want to use my current creative shop for ad concepts and design. Can I just use the creative partners for post-production and QA support?
Yes. This type of work typically qualifies as the "simple" ad type, so pre-negotiated rates still apply.
What if the creative shop I use already has a Studio login and runs ads as QA-only? Can I continue to submit campaigns that way?
We strongly advise you to use one of our Studio-certified creative partners rather than relying on your creative shop to build campaigns that our team QAs because there's no campaign management support to guide your campaign through the approval process. If you continue to submit creatives using the QA-only process, we could revoke the creative shop's Studio access, which poses a significant risk to your campaign timeline. So we recommend that you work with a Studio-certified creative partner.
What turn-around times can I expect when working with a creative partner?
The DoubleClick production and QA teams have trained our partners so that their level of service mimics ours. You can therefore expect the same standard turn-around times from the partners as you would from us, which is typically three to four days but may be longer based on complexity and number of units. For more information on timelines, see Determine the post-production team and timelines.
What if I increase my spend with DoubleClick? Can I qualify for in-house support?
Yes. The minimum volume to qualify for in-house support is 200 million impressions per year for rich media creatives only (excluding standard Flash, image ads, internal redirects, etc). If you hit this run rate for annual spending and you want to request in-house support, please contact your DoubleClick account manager who can submit your request for review by the client services team.
