Preview properties: Peel-down

An ad that shows a glimpse of your creative in the corner of the web page. When the viewer interacts, the rest of the ad peels down to reveal the full message.

Fields

  • Peel width: The width of the collapsed size of the ad, before it's peeled.
  • Peel height: The height of the collapsed size of the ad, before it's peeled.
  • Width: Expanded width, in pixels.
  • Height: Expanded height, in pixels.
  • Offset X: The distance between the left or right edge of the collapsed asset and the left or right edge of the expanded asset, in pixels. Positive values determine distance from the left, and negative values determine distance from the right.
    Values other than 0 may cut off sections of the creative.
    Only use offset values when building expanding creatives without the DoubleClick Studio Expanding component.
  • Offset Y: The distance between the top or bottom edge of the collapsed asset and the top or bottom margin of the expanded asset, in pixels. Positive values determine distance from the top, and negative values determine distance from the bottom.

  • Position X: Distance ad is positioned from left margin, measured in px, %, or pxc (pixels from center).
  • Lock vertical: Anchors creative vertically in web page when user scrolls.
  • Lock horizontal: Anchors creative horizontally in web page when user scrolls.
  • Position Y: Distance ad is positioned from left margin, measured in px, %, or pxc (pixels from center).
  • Wmode
    • Window: Plays ad in its own window on a web page.
    • Opaque: Makes ad hide everything behind it on the page.
    • Transparent: (default) Allows background of web page to show through all transparent portions of the ad.
  • Start time: Number of seconds that elapse before creative plays.
    • None
    • Custom
  • Close time: Number of seconds that elapse before creative closes, regardless of its total length. For example, you may want a two-minute video to stop playing after 30 seconds.
    • Auto: Creative plays through once, then closes.
    • None: Creative doesn't close.
    • Custom: User-determined number of seconds before creative closes.
  • Z-index: Controls depth of creative in relation to other elements on the page. If two elements overlap and have the same wmode, the element with the higher z-index appears on top.
  • Hide: Check these options to prevent selected items from appearing in ad:
    • Scroll bars
    • Java applets
    • I-frames
    • Selection boxes
    • Flash objects
