Select, cut, copy, paste, undo & redo in Quickoffice

Quickoffice works with your device's operating system to perform basic editing operations like select, cut, copy, paste & undo.

Select text

You'll need to select text to edit it or modify the formatting. In Quickoffice, you can leave the fomatting menu open and move through your document to make changes to text that you select.

Here's how to select text:

  1. Double touch on a word
  2. Drag pins to highlight desired selection
  3. Choose your editing options (cut, copy, paste, etc.) from the toolbox that appears

iOS users: You can touch and hold anywhere in your document to bring up options to Select, Select All & Paste

Select cells, columns & rows

You'll need to first select cells, columns, and rows to change the formatting in your spreadsheets.

Here's how to select cells:

  1. If your keyboard is visible, touch the keyboard icon to minimize it
  2. Touch a row header, column header, or a cell you'd like to select
  3. Choose your editing options (cut, copy, paste, etc.) from the toolbox that appears

Tip: Touch once, then touch and hold to select multiple columns or rows.
Tip: Use the blue pins at the edge of your selection to select more cells

Undo and Redo actions with Quickoffice

You can undo and redo actions with Quickoffice. Touch the undo and redo arrows to remove or restore your actions. Note: Up to 10 changes can be undone or redone at a time.

Tip: On iPads and iPhones you can also shake your device to bring up the undo and redo options.
