Within your Google Places for business account, click the Edit link beneath your listing and use the map inset to place the pin on your correct business location. Be sure to click the Submit link at the bottom of the page to ensure that the pin is properly updated. If you have attempted this and your business's location still does not show correctly after a few days, then you can submit the following form: To flag an image for removal, click the Report inappropriate photo link in the Photos section of the business listing. For any given page, you will only be able to report the photos that you see on that page. So, from the business’s Place Page, you will see at most 5 photos to report. On any of the “more photos” pages, you will be able to report inappropriate photos on a page-by-page basis (a maximum of 20 photos per page). When we get your report, we’ll check whether the image complies with our Terms of Service, and we’ll remove it if necessary. Alternatively, if you are the business owner and you find a photo that you don’t want on your Place Page, check to see whether it’s in your Google Places for business account. If it is, delete it directly from your Google Places for business account by clicking Remove underneath the image(s). If you haven't seen your changes reflected in one week, please complete the following form: What type of review problem are you having?
Can I get a review removed? You can use the Flag as inappropriate link next to a review to report it as inappropriate. We will then check if the review violates these guidelines. Note, however, that Google Places reviews are a forum for users to share both positive and negative opinions. We do not arbitrate disputes and more often than not, we leave the review up. If your business received a review that you don’t agree with, we encourage you to use business owner responses to reconcile the situation with the customer. We know a negative review can be frustrating, but we believe that engaging with a customer to address his or her concerns creates the best environment on Google Places. Criteria for removing reviewsWe want people to get ratings, reviews, and recommendations that are relevant, helpful, and trustworthy. To protect both business owners and customers, we have systems in place that may remove individual reviews that include any of the following:
Sometimes our algorithms may flag and remove legitimate reviews in our effort to combat abuse. We know this is frustrating when it happens but believe that overall, these measures are helping everyone by ensuring that the reviews appearing on Google Places are authentic, relevant, and useful.
You can use the flag icon next to a review on a local Google+ page to have your request reviewed. If you've already done this and have not seen a change on the review you believe is inappropriate, you can complete the following form:
Please note that businesses reported as closed can take several weeks to be removed from Google. If you've reported a business as closed and still see it in Google results after several weeks, you can submit the following form:
