To use Offers:
- Your business must be located within the United States
- You must verify your business listing using Google Places for business
- You must determine that your business is eligible under our product policies - if your goods or services fall into any of the categories listed here, we cannot support your offers at this time.
To create an offer:
- Sign in to Google Places for business account.
- Select the Offers tab.
- Choose an offer template - percent off, money off, or free item with purchase.
- Next, enter your offer details.
- Choose a photo from our gallery of stock photos. You can browse by category or choose a generic image. When you’re finished, click Next step.
- Customize your offer distribution and redemption options:
- Choose if a customer is able to use the offer just once or may use it multiple times
- Indicate how many offers you want to make available using the slider. Note that not all customers who save your offer will redeem it, so the actual number of redemptions may be lower.
- Set the expiration date for your offer using the Year, Month, or Week buttons.
- Specify which days of the week customers may redeem your offer. Then click, Next step.
- If you have more than one location in your Places account, you can choose for which specific locations the offer will be displayed.
- Specify any other additional restrictions or add a redemption code.
- For example, “Valid on dine-in orders only” or “Not valid towards the purchase of gift cards”
- Preview what your offer will look like on the right hand panel.
- After you are done previewing, click Publish my offer. Your offer will be accessible to users soon after you hit Publish.
- Offers are reviewed according to our Google Offers Program policies and our Offers guidelines. If any of your offers get disapproved, you will receive an email notification to your Google Places e-mail address. Disapproved offers will appear as Suspended on the Manage tab and will not be shown to potential customers. You will not be able to edit a suspended offer and will need to create a new offer.
