Offers created by you within your Google Places account are a great way to provide special discounts and deals to your customers, and to attract new customers who view your listing via Google Maps for Android, or find your deals in the Google Offers app and Google Wallet app. An offer created through your Google Places for business account will not be distributed through email.
You can choose from three types of offers:
- Money off - to specify a dollar discount, such as “$10 off entire meal”
- Percent off - to specify a percentage discount, such as “25% off all clothing”
- Free product - to provide a free product or gift with purchase, such as “free fries when you buy a burger”
Once you’ve created your offer, it may go live within hours. To redeem an offer, customers show you the offer on their mobile phones and you simply apply the appropriate discount at checkout. We’ll keep track of how many customers have redeemed or saved your offer and limit the number of offers distributed based on how many you have chosen to make available.
