Add or update your account information

As your business grows and changes, you may want to update or edit the information in your Google Pay for Business account. This article will help you do the following:

Add or update a UPI ID

One of the benefits of using Google Pay for Business is the quick and easy payment method available to your customers. Anyone with a Unified Payments Interface (UPI) ID can use Google Pay to pay you.

How to add a new UPI ID

  1. Sign in to your Google Pay for Business account.
  2. In the menu on the left, click Payment info.
  3. Click Add additional UPI ID.
  4. Enter your UPI ID and click Next.
  5. Enter the amount of money received in your Google Pay account (related to the UPI ID provided above) and click Next.

Note: To delete a UPI ID, contact support.

Edit your profile

You can edit your business information to keep your profile up-to-date. To edit your information, follow the steps below:

You cannot edit email addresses.

  1. Sign in to your Google Pay for Business account.
  2. In the menu on the left, click Account details.
  3. In the upper right corner of the “Account details” tab, click Edit.
  4. To save changes, in the upper right corner click Done.

After you save your edits, the relevant information shows up as “in review” in your Google Pay for Business account. Once the Google Pay for Business team reviews and approves the changes, the status changes to “active.”

Note: It can take up to 48 hours for you to see the approved changes in your dashboard.
