You can use your Orkut settings to restrict who's allowed to write messages to you, comment on your photos and see your album. To do so, just follow these steps:
- Click settings or, if you linked your profile, click the gear icon in the upper right, then select Settings.
- Select the privacy tab.
- Use the drop-down menu next to each feature to change access permissions.
Keep in mind that certain parts of your profile can't be hidden from other users, such as your profile picture and name. Similarly, your primary email address can't be hidden from people you've added to your friends list.
Ignore other users
You can prevent specific users from sending you unwanted a friend requests or a messages; just add those users to your ignore list. To do so, visit their profile, click ignore user on the left menu.
