In most cases, profiles are disabled because of a perceived violation of either the Orkut Terms of Service or the Orkut Content Policy. Users should review both pages carefully if their account was suspended.
If your profile was deleted by Orkut, you'll see the following error message: "Your profile has been deleted. Your profile violated our Terms of Use (or image upload guidelines). We have deleted your profile and we encourage you to read our policies and usage guidelines before you create a new profile."
Note that Google reserves the right to:
- Disable an account for investigation.
- Suspend a Google Account from using a particular product or the entire Google Accounts system if the Google Terms of Service or product-specific policies are violated.
- Terminate your account at any time, for any reason, with or without notice.
If your account has been disabled, remember to review the relevant Terms of Service before attempting to create another account. If you believe your profile was suspended in error, review these possible solutions.
