If you receive an error message that "This account has been deleted and is no longer available," it means you've deleted your Orkut profile (or somebody with access to your account has deleted it).
It isn't possible to reactivate a deleted Orkut profile; however, you can create a new profile with the same Google Account. Note that we can't transfer or restore deleted scraps or other content.
Creating a new Orkut profile
To create a new profile, visit www.orkut.com. If you already have a Google Account, just enter your account email and password and click sign in. You'll be prompted to create your Orkut profile.
Keep in mind that a Google Account can only be linked to one Orkut profile at a time.
If you don't have a Google Account, visit www.orkut.com and click the Join now link. Follow the instructions on the page to create a Google Account. Don't forget your username and password; you'll need them to sign in to Orkut whenever you visit.
What's a Google Account?
A Google Account is a unified sign-in system made up of an email address and password of your choice. It gives you access to various free Google products, including Orkut, Gmail, Google Groups, Google Docs, Blogger, Picasa and more.
If you've used any of these products before, you already have a Google Account. To try new Google products, such as Orkut, simply sign in with your existing Google Account information. Your account username is the email address you entered when you created your Google Account. If you have a Gmail account, you can use your Gmail username and password to sign in to your Google Account and to new Google products. You can find out more about Google Accounts at the Google Accounts Help Center.
